Dear students, postdocs and young professionals,
Save the date – we will hold our annual career event “Working in Photonics in Berlin” soon!
Students will see different options for career paths in optics, while companies and institutes can talk to recent and future graduates in the field of Physics.
The session will feature short presentations from different organisations and the chance to ask questions. Afterwards, there will be an opportunity to network 1-on-1 with the presenters (meetings need to be pre-booked at the B2Match platform).
This event is part of the Photonics Days Berlin Brandenburg, which takes place between 4th and 7th of October 2021.

This annual event supplies a platform where students, postdocs and young professionals with an interest in the field of optics and photonics can meet professionals from the photonics industry and research institutes: different speakers present their current work as well as their career paths, providing insights and information on the opportunities in the field of optics.
We have an exciting program with short talks by speakers from several companies and institutes with available work opportunities, we look forward to seeing you there!

In collaboration with the CARLA project, the event will be a “CARLA capsule“, preparing for a full CARLA career event over 2-3 days in 2022. We therefore will contact the participants before and after the event for completing a short survey in order to learn how useful the events are and how we can improve.
